Lythgoe Bourbon Recipe - South Beach Swagger

Ms. Lythgoe's South Beach Swagger

  • 2 oz Lythgoe® Bourbon Founders’ Collection
  • 1 oz fresh pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz Falernum
  • 0.25 oz rich Demerara syrup (or simple syrup)
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Crushed ice
  • Fresh mint sprig and a pineapple wedge, for garnish

Recipe: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add bourbon, pineapple juice, lime juice, falernum, demerara syrup, and bitters. Shake vigorously until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a pineapple wedge.

Cleo's Copper Mule

Cleo's Copper Mule

Recipe: Fill a copper mule mug with ice. Add Lythgoe Bourbon and freshly squeezed lime. Top with ginger beer. Gently stir. Gsrnish with lime and mint sprig. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Gilded Julep

The Gilded Julep

  • 1.5 oz Lythgoe® Bourbon
  • 1 White Sugar Cube
  • ¼ oz. H20
  • 4 Small Mint Leaves
  • 2 oz. Unsweetened Luzianne Iced Tea
  • Lemon Twist to Garnish

Recipe: In a shaker, add a sugar cube and muddle with 4 small mint leaves. Add Founders’ Collection and Luizianne to the shaker, stir. Fill shaker with ice to cover the liquid. Shake for 30 seconds. Strain over rocks glass onto ice. Garnish with lemon peel.

The Founder's Sour

The Founder's Sour

  • 2 oz Lythgoe® Bourbon
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Honey Syrup
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1-2 Dash Bitters

Recipe: Add all ingredients to a shaker (no ice!) and dry shake to make it silky smooth (~15 seconds). Add ice and shake again until chilled (~15-20 seconds). Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a few drops of your favorite bitters.

Cleo's Last Call

Recipe: Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add Lythgoe Founders’ Collection, Amaro Averna, Amaro Montenegro, and Jack Rudy Aromatic Bitters. Stir until well chilled (about 30 seconds). Strain into a chilled glass over a large ice cube. Express an orange twist over the drink and drop it in as garnish. Enjoy!

Cleo's Vendetta

Recipe: Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add Lythgoe Founders’ Collection, Amaro Averna, and Italicus. Stir until well chilled (about 30 seconds). Strain into a chilled glass. Express a twist of lemon over the drink and drop it in as garnish. Saluti!

Cleo's Kiss

  • 2 oz Lythgoe® Bourbon
  • 3 Dashes Fee Brother’s Aztec Chocolate Bitters
  • 1 oz Bold Ginger Ale
  • 1 Luxardo Cherry
  • A Twist of Lemon

Recipe: Chill a Coupe glass. Pour Lythgoe and bitters over ice. Stir. Add Ginger Ale and stir again. Rub the rim of the glass with a lemon twist. Strain and pour into chilled Coupe glass and garnish with Luxardo cherry and lemon twist. Cheers!

Bootlegger's Fig

  • 2 oz Lythgoe® Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Thyme-Fig, Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Fruitful, Mission Fig Liquor
  • Club Soda

Recipe: Combine Lythgoe, simple syrup, and fig liquor in a shaker with ice. Strain or pour into a cocktail glass on ice. Top with club soda.

Thyme-Fig Simple Syrup
One cup water
One cup sugar
2 tablespoons Dalmatia Spread or fig preserves
Two sprigs thyme
Six fresh or dried figs cut in half

Add all the ingredients to a pot and bring it to a boil. Strain and let cool. It’s ready to use in a cocktail. Salud!

Manhattan Lythgoe Recipe

Lythgoe Manhattan

Recipe: Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add Lythgoe Founders’ Collection bourbon, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and Angostura bitters. Stir until well chilled (about 30 seconds). Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Golden Hour

Recipe: Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add Lythgoe Founders’ Collection, Yellow Chartreuse, Antica Sweet Vermouth, Regan’s #6 Orange Bitters, and Angostura Bitters. Stir until well chilled (about 30 seconds). Strain into a chilled coupe glass or a rocks glass. Place an orange slice on the rim or in the glass.
